I think a hermit crab is a great pet i have 6 now they never nag or cry they don't need much help doing anything and they don't take up much space either.the best part is that while you are traveling you can sneak them onto planes and into hotels and they never make any noise.or you can leave them with even your stupidist friend and they will still be alive when you get home.
another good thing about Hermit crabs is that you don't need a garbage disposable...just throw all your leftovers in the cage and the Hermit crabs will eat it all up.
