So last night I got home and saw flowers sitting outside my door. A big basket of arranged daisies in purple and yellow. Fine. I look at the card and there is no indication of the florist or anything, but it has my address on the envelope, as if it were delivered. The card looks like a high school girl wrote it and it said:
"Christine - I hope you have a nice day off and I hope you like daisy's [sic] too! I know these aren't power tools but I hope you like them anyway. LOL"
Tsai, in a text message, said they weren't from him. Who in God's name sent this to me? Who knows 1. my address, 2. that I like power tools, 3. that I normally take my birthday off?

Maybe Phoebe is smarter than we all thought...
what a mystery...i'm sure it was your mom or nana.
I am guessing a neighbor that just sat them there and hears you working on home improvements all the time!!
a few things:
1. phoebe is smart. also a terrific athlete.
2. it wasn't rebound/chicagoguy or tsai.
3. i haven't done shit on my apartment in a long time. and that does nothing to engender good feelings from the neighbors... actually, it makes them hate me a little bit.
4. i doubt it is nana - she never writes that much.
well who sent the flowers??
It was my friend, Laura. The florist screwed up - she fully intended to sign the card. Oops.
