Okay...I must share this. Our student run paper (not one of the journals) just published a new issue. I am normally pretty tolerant of different ideas; however, in an article entitled Does Diversity Destroy, the author, Samir Asthama (Kick his or her ass if you ever meet them) actually said: "our deviant neighbors to the north and south will infiltrate our ranks and steal our jobs, our women, our very heritage that we worked so hard to snatch from the murdering savages that inhabited this great land before us." Are you kidding me?

Cousins in NYC!

Here is a picture of me and cousin Charlie in Times Square the other week. We hadn't been drinking at all...

I am hearing rumors of a Mexican Fiesta at the Casa de Groves on April 13th... Anyone care to confirm or deny? We leave the next morning for the Boston Marathon, so Eric will be ready to eat. Not that he is ever NOT ready to eat.

Goodbye Jeep

Sadly the jeep has gone on to its' final resting place in the big junkyard in the sky. I did get to take the winch and a couple other items so if anybody knows of someone who has a Jeep themselves (PJ?) and wants a good deal on a fine winch please let me know. Sarah has also put a bid in on some of the settlement dollars since she claims that she always put gas in the Jeep and therefore was entitled to some of the money from the insurance company. Hmmmm...I'll have to think about that.

All dogs ARE chicken, and also, I have a FABOO new haircut.

Here's a transcript of the first conversation Charlie and I had Wednesday morning while he was in New York.
Sarah: What do you want to do today, Cousin?
CT: (yawn) Let's go see that boat.
Sarah: What boat?
CT: That big boat that came in? Remember the horn?
Sarah: What are you TALKING about?! What BOAT?
CT: (exasperated) That boat that came in. You know, you said the train was honking its horn because a ship came in!
Sarah: (jaw dropped staring at her crazy cousin)
CT: Wait. Was that a dream?
Sarah: Yes.
CT: I had a dream that I asked you why the train was honking its horn and you said that they always do that when a big military ship comes to the city. And I wanted to see it!
Sarah: You CRAZY!
CT: Are you SURE that didn't happen?
Sarah: Uhh...positive.
